Energy stocks are on the rise and well positioned to generate big returns.
 
Energy crisis has caused a hike in demand and prices for all energy resources. As a result, all energy producers have seen a big jump in their share prices. On the contrary, energy consumers stocks have plummeted (see the picture below).
 
This is particular hurting energy-intensive materials and metals companies such as aluminium, steel, cement etc.
 
Higher energy prices also benefit renewable energy producers which is also reflected in their stock dynamics. This is also a good development for energy efficency projects.
